JThis new exciting show, goes to the very beginnings of Rockabilly, Rock'n'Roll and the young teenager named Elvis Presley who led the revolution which changed modern music forever.
The show features Aussie Music Legend Lonnie Lee who, in May 1956 started his own incredible career by singing Elvis' first #1 song, 'Heartbreak Hotel' on a radio Amateur Hour. This was the 1st time an Elvis song had been sang live on Australian radio.
A few months later in February 1957, he won an MGM Studio contest to find 'Australia's Elvis Presley' and a few weeks later won another contest to win 'Sydney's Elvis'. He started his own Rockabilly Trio and the rest is history. Years later, in 1977 just after Elvis' passing, he recorded an album in Nashville with Elvis' Las Vegas Orchestra.
Therefore, no one is more suited or credible to present this exciting and historic show. The story and the fantastic exciting music which started a revolution. Read about it here, then be sure not to miss it!

This is a very good album of these wonderful songs from the young Elvis. I loved the show too which I saw at Blacktown Workers Club some time ago.
